Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) opened today’s trading session with two of its indexes going slightly up while another two plummeted; European shares dropped.

Deals in the opening session totaled 2.43 million lei (668,745 euros). The BET index measuring the market’s ten top performers gained 0.14 percent to 7,086.91 and the BET-C index tracking all listed shares minus investment funds slipped 0.05 percent to 4,927.59.
The ROTX index for trading blue chips in Vienna grew 0.09 percent to 15,586.66. The BET-FI index which measures the five financial companies SIFs dropped 0.07 percent to 56,511.39.
The shares of SIF Oltenia (SIF5) stagnated at 3.24 lei per share. SIF Muntenia (SIF4) shares idled at 1.71 lei.
Banca Transilvania (TLV), Romania’s fifth lender by assets, saw its shares stagnating at 0.71 lei. The shares of Romania's biggest fertilizer producer Azomures grew 5.67 percent, to 0.2050 lei.
The shares of Romania’s top oil company Petrom (SNP) rose 0.54 percent, to 0.37 lei.
