După aceea, cu exemplarul din Monitorul Oficial se va merge la un birou notarial, pentru a se da o declarație pe propria răspundere din care să rezulte în ce împrejurări s-a pierdut documentul în cauză. Costul unei declarații notariale de pierdere a actelor de studii este de circa 50 de lei, plus TVA. Și, în sfârșit, cu documentele de mai sus, două poze și un timbru fiscal de 2 lei se va solicita eliberarea unui duplicat la Inspectoratul Școlar Județean de care aparține liceul absolvit.
