Indexes on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) advanced 1 percent in today's opening session on high liquidity.

Liquidity climbed to 3.16 million lei (858,630 euros) versus 1.22 million lei in the previous session.
Stocks in the U.S. dropped slightly on closing in yesterday's session. The Dow Jones (DJIA) composite index slipped 0.29 percent to 11,807, the S&P 500 index lost 0.28 percent to 1,314 and the Nasdaq index fell 0.73 percent to 2,368.
In Romania, the BET index measuring the ten best companies on BSE, increased 1.01 percent to 6,734.02 and the BET-C composite index tracking all listed shares minus investment funds gained 0.48 percent to 4,779.25.
The BET-FI index of the five financial companies known as SIFs advanced 0.31 percent to 49,349.16 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna climbed 0.92 percent to 15,461.58.
SIF Oltenia (SIF5) was the most liquid stock today, with deals of 508,616 lei and dropped 0.36 percent to 2.74 lei, SIF Moldova (SIF2) climbed 1.49 percent to 2.04 lei and SIF Transilvania (SIF3) gained 0.66 percent to 1.53 lei.
Fifth lender by assets Banca Transilvania (TLV) advanced 1.27 percent to 0.40 lei and second lender by assets BRD SocGen (BRD) upped 1.55 percent to 19.70 lei.
Real estate development company Impact (IMP) jumped 6.22 percent to 0.2390 lei, on deals of 131,900 lei.
