Romania's leu climbs to 3.65 versus the euro in today's opening session, following regional trend

Romania's national currency, the leu, advanced to 3.65 versus Europe's single currency this morning, following regional trend, dealers said.
The leu climbed from 3.67 to 3.66 versus the euro this morning and then increased constantly to 3.65. The national currency stood at 3.6480 – 3.6520 lei per euro at 11 a.m.
On international markets, the U.S. dollar advanced to 1.56 versus the euro and at 11 a.m. Romania's hour, the euro was traded for 1.5589 U.S. dollars.
Interbank interests for overnight deposits stood at 10 – 10.5 percent per year, exceeding the monetary policy rate of 9.75 percent per year.
