Romania's leu slipped to 3.6874 against Europe's single currency today, on the decline of the Hungarian forint.

The leu stood at 3.6717 lei per euro this morning and then dropped to 3.6874. The national currency stood at 3.6710-3.6760 lei per euro at 11:10 a.m.
The U.S. dollar was traded for 1.4599-1.4639 U.S. dollars per euro on the international markets, while at 11:10 a.m. Romania's hour, the euro stood at 1.4622 U.S. dollars.
The interbank interest rates for overnight deposits exceeded the monetary policy of 9 percent per year.
