Romanian stocks inch at rising bell today and liquidity hikes to lei 5.13m

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) posted insignificant hikes today, up to 0.51 percent on the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna while liquidity rose 21 percent.
Deals amounted to 5.13 million lei today (1.4 million euros) from 4.22 million lei in the previous session.
Bourses in the U.S. closed yesterday on moderate hikes. The composite index Dow Jones (DJIA) gained 1.02 percent to 12,876.31, the S&P 500 index rose 1.1 percent to 1,403.58 and the Nasdaq index climbed 1.76 percent to 2,488.49.
In Romania, the BET index measuring the ten best companies on the BSE inched 0.04 percent to 6,876.81 and the BET-C composite index tracking all listed shares minus investment funds gained 0.27 percent to 4,901.63.
The BET-FI index of the five SIFs upped 0.37 percent to 49,813.27. The ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna gained 0.51 percent to 16,244.01.
Fifth lender by assets Banca Transilvania (TLV) was the most liquid stock today generating deals of 2.1 million lei. Shares lost 1.44 percent to 0.685 lei. Second lender by assets gained 1.93 percent to 21.10 lei.
Erste Bank (EBS) listed on the international tier of the BSE, hiked 2.06 percent to 173.70 lei.
On the financial companies sector, SIF Moldova (SIF2) was the second most liquid stock and shares gained 0.47 percent to 2.13 lei.
SIF Muntenia (SIF4) climbed 0.63 percent to 1.59 lei while SIF Banat-Crisana (SIF1) lowered 0.43 percent to 2.32 lei. SIF Transilvania (SIF3) idled at 1.43 lei and SIF Oltenia (SIF5) nudged up 1.11 percent to 2.73 lei.
Brokerage house Broker Cluj (BRK) dropped 1.3 percent to 0.76 lei. Gas operator Transgaz Medias (TGN) inched 0.19 percent to 214.90 lei.
