Romanian stocks remain on the wave yet liquidity dries up at rising bell today

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) posted slight upward trend at rising bell today with shares on the fertilizers segment seeing the highest advance, above the market average, up to 10.49 percent.
Liquidity dropped almost three-fold to 2.5 million lei (683,224 euros) from 7.28 million lei in the previous session.
Bourses in the U.S. closed mixed the last session. The Dow Jones index (DJIA) lost 0.05 percent to 12,986, the S&P 500 index inched 0.13 percent to 1,425 and the Nasdaq index dipped 0.19 percent to 2,528.
In Romania, the BET index measuring the ten best companies on the BSE inched 0.22 percent to 7,559.11 and the BET-C composite index tracking all listed shares minus investment funds gained 0.26 percent to 5,268.57.
The BET-FI index of the five SIFs upped 0.33 percent to 54,329.14. The ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna gained 0.21 percent to 17,609.92.
Romania's biggest fertilizer producer, Azomures (AZO) boosted 10.49 percent to 0.2950 lei and was the most liquid stock generating deals of 328,066 lei. Romanian chemical producer Amonil Slobozia (AMO) grew 5.75 percent to 0.0681 lei.
SIF Muntenia (SIF4) gained the most on the financial companies segment: 1.17 percent to 1.73 lei. SIF Transilvania (SIF3) upped 0.63 percent to 1.61 lei. SIF Oltenia (SIF5) rose 0.34 percent to 2.98 lei.
On the banking segment, fifth lender by assets Banca Transilvania (TLV) nudged up 0.43 percent to 0.4660 lei while the second lender by assets BRD SocGen dived 0.44 percent to 22.80 lei. Erste Bank, listed on the international tier of the BSE dipped 0.06 percent to 176.90 lei.
On the power segment, gas operator Transgaz (TGN) lowered 1.04 percent to 218.70 lei. The country's biggest oil company Petrom (SNP) idled at 0.53 lei.
