Stocks listed at the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) dropped 0.93 percent in today's opening session, on double liquidity, in line with stocks in the U.S. which fell 3 percent in the previous session.

Liquidity reached 3.39 million lei (928,988 euros), versus 1.5 million lei in the previous session.
Stocks in the U.S. fell 3 percent in yesterday's session. So the Dow Jones (DJIA) composite index dipped 3.03 percent to 11,453, the S&P 500 index dropped 2.94 percent to 1,283 and the Nasdaq index lost 3.33 percent to 2,321.
In Romania, the BET index measuring the ten best companies on BSE, lowered 0.93 percent to 6,378.36 and the BET-C composite index tracking all listed shares minus investment funds dipped 1.03 percent to 4,565.26.
The BET-FI index of the five financial companies known as SIFs slipped 0.79 percent to 46,453.66 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna lost 0.87 percent to 14,626.02.
Second lender by assets BRD-SocGen (BRD) was the most liquid stock today, with deals of 709,955 lei and dropped 0.53 percent to 18.80 lei. Fifth lender by assets Banca Transilvania (TLV) slipped 0.27 percent to 0.3750 lei. Erste Bank, listed on the international tier of the BSE, cheapened 2.11 percent to 143.60 lei, on deals of 345,278 lei.
SIF Muntenia (SIF4) fell 1.35 percent to 1.46 lei, SIF Moldova (SIF2) idled at 1.94 lei, SIF Oltenia (SIF5) lowered 1.87 percent to 2.63 lei and SIF Banat-Crisana (SIF1) dipped 0.51 percent to 1.96 lei.
