Power companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) increased a medium 0.5 percent this morning on a descending market.
Liquidity reduced 15 percent to 1.11 million lei while yesterday morning it was 1.3 million lei.
The BET index tracking the ten best companies on the capital market lost 0.10 percent to 6,042.28 and the BET-C composite index measuring all listed shares minus investment funds decreased 0.35 percent to 4,407.75.
The BET-FI index of the five financial companies was idle at 34,853.89 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna dropped 0.18 percent to 14,161.86.
The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies fell 0.21 percent to 625.87 and the BET-NG index of the ten power companies on the market added 0.51 percent to 826.52.
Bourses in the U.S. closed with moderate falls. The Dow Jones composite index (DJIA) lost 0.94 percent to 11,532 and the S&P 500 index slipped 0.29 percent to 1,285. Nasdaq dropped 0.08 percent to 2,428.
Erste Bank (EBS) listed at the international tier of the bourse rose 0.20 percent to 149.50 lei and BRD SocGen (BRD), the second-largest bank by assets in Romania, decreased 1.08 percent to 18.40 lei. The fifth bank by assets Banca Transilvania (TLV) cheapened 1.56 percent to 0.3150.
SIF Moldova (SIF2) idled 1.67 lei. SIF Oltenia (SIF5) remained unchanged at 1.93 lei.
Oil company Petrom (SNP) stayed at 0.45 lei.
