Pirotehnicienii ISU Dobrogea au constatat că este vorba de un proiectil de artilerie, de calibru 100 de milimetri, rămas neexplodat din perioada celui de-Al Doilea Război Mondial, cu focosul intact, ceea ce înseamnă că putea să detoneze dacă ar fi fost lovit sau tăiat. Proiectilul găsit a fost transportat în condiții speciale și depozitat în siguranță în depozitul de muniție al inspectoratului până la momentul în care va fi distrus.
"Având în vedere că sezonul lucrărilor agricole de primăvară este la început și există riscul ca astfel de elemente de muniție să fie descoperite îngropate, reamintim populației că este interzisă atingerea munițiilor cu mâna sau cu alte obiecte, ridicarea, transportul și introducerea munițiilor în diferite încăperi sau locuințe, comercializarea acestora prin agenții de colectare a deșeurilor feroase și neferoase, lovirea sau mișcarea munițiilor găsite în pământ sau la suprafață, introducerea munițiilor în foc, topirea elementelor metalice ale munițiilor, tăierea munițiilor cu fierăstrăul, scule electrice sau prin sudură, folosirea munițiilor pentru improvizarea diverselor unelte, utilizarea pulberilor și explozivilor provenite din muniții în scopuri artizanale, demontarea de la muniții a focoaselor sau a altor elemente componente, folosirea pentru joacă, de către copii, a elementelor de muniție. Persoanele care găsesc elemente de muniție neexplodate au obligația de a apela numărul unic 112, de a anunța Primăria din localitate sau cel mai apropiat post de poliție. Efectuarea acestui anunț nu implică cu nimic cetățeanul, însă neinformarea autorităților se sancționează potrivit legislației în vigoare", explică Paula Anghel, purtător de cuvânt al ISU Dobrogea.
