Nepoata, în vârstă de 49 de ani, s-a speriat și a încercat în fel și chip să o facă pe mătușa sa să se răzgândească. Fără succes, însă. După câteva minute, octogenara și-a luat rămas bun și s-a aruncat în lacul Siutghiol, ținând telefonul la ureche. Nepoata victimei spune că a auzit un zgomot prin telefon, ca și cum ar fi sărit în apă, apoi un gâlgâit, după care conversația s-a întrerupt. A anunțat imediat autoritățile, care au început căutările.
Cadavrul femeii a fost descoprit ieri dimineață, de un bărbat care se afla în trecere pe malul lacului Siutghiol, în dreptul hotelului Meridian. La fața locului au ajuns imediat polițiștii constănțeni, dar și echipajele SMURD, care au scos trupul neînsuflețit pe mal. Femeia de 83 de ani a fost găsită cu telefonul ținut strâns în mână. Pe trupul acesteia nu au fost găsite urme de violență. Oamenii legii vor stabili, în urma necropsiei, cauza exactă a decesului.
"În dimineața de joi, 15 mai, polițiștii din Stațiunea Mamaia au fost sesizați cu privire la faptul că, pe malul lacului Siutghiol, a fost găsit trupul neînsuflețit al unei femei, în vârstă de 83 de ani, din județul Galați. Cercetările continuă, în vederea stabilirii cu exactitate a tuturor cauzelor și împrejurărilor producerii evenimentului", au precizat reprezentanții IPJ Constanța.
