Romanian stocks recover from losses at rising bell today on reduced liquidity

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) posted moderate increases at rising bell today recovering losses seen in the previous session and liquidity lowered much below yesterday to 782,400 lei.
Deals amounted at 4.89 million lei (1.33 million euros) the day before.
Bourses in the U.S. closed on slight rise yesterday. The Dow Jones (DJIA) composite index climbed 0.28 percent to 12,063.09, the S&P 500 index rose 0.38 percent to 1,342.83 and the Nasdaq index upped 1.33 percent to 2,462.06.
The BET index of the ten best companies on the BSE rose 1.3 percent to 7,104.41 and the BET-C composite index measuring all listed shares minus investment funds gained 0.91 percent to 5,057.47.
The BET-FI index of the five investment funds known as SIFs inched 0.38 percent to 52,310.12 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna hiked 1.57 percent to 16,370.44.
SIF Muntenia (SIF4) was the most liquid stock today generating deals of 113,000 lei and idled at 1.65 lei. SIF Transilvania (SIF3) rose 0.61 percent to 1.65 lei. SIF Oltenia (SIF5) upped 0.35 percent to 2.84 lei. SIF Banat-Crisana (SIF1) idled at 2.29 lei. SIF Moldova (SIF2) gained 0.94 percent to 2.14 lei.
Fifth lender by assets, Banca Transilvania (TLV) nudged up 0.95 percent to 0.424 lei. Second lender by assets BRD SocGen (BRD) hiked 1.46 percent to 20.90 lei. Erste Bank (EBS), listed on the international tier of the BSE increased 2.52 percent to 163 lei. Gas operator Transgaz Medias (TGN) gained 0.14 percent to 222 lei.
