CONSTANȚA, orașul sensurilor giratorii!
Constanța este orașul sensurilor giratorii! Astfel va fi supranumit, cel mai probabil, orașul. Numărul sensurilor giratorii este în continuă creștere: în municipiu sunt deja 15 sensuri și numai anul acesta vor fi realizate cel puțin alte cinci.
Traficul rutier în municipiul Constanța este un calvar. Sunt din ce în ce mai multe mașini, iar mulți șoferi își aduc aminte de regulile de circulație doar când văd o mașină de poliție. În plus, în special în timpul sezonului estival, pentru a străbate orașul dintr-un capăt în altul, trebuie să ai nervi de fier.
Cel puțin cinci sensuri giratorii vor fi realizate în 2012
Soluția găsită de administrația locală pentru fluidizarea traficului este reprezentată de sensurile giratorii. Așa că, de câțiva ani, în zonele aglomerate sau unde au avut loc accidente rutiere grave, este realizată o astfel de construcție.
Până în prezent, în municipiu sunt peste 15 sensuri giratorii. Și cel puțin alte cinci sunt în plan pentru acest an, ne-a declarat Monica Vodă, șef Serviciu Tehnic Drumuri, din cadrul SC Confort Urban SA. "În prezent se lucrează la sensul giratoriu de la intersecția Bulevardului 1 Decembrie 1918 cu strada București și la cel de la intersecția dintre Bulevardul Aurel Vlaicu și strada Alba Iulia. Urmează să fie realizat unul și la intersecția străzii Traian cu Termele Romane și sunt în faza de proiectare două sensuri giratorii, la intersecția străzilor Sucevei, Adamclisi și Dobrilă Eugeniu, dar și pe Bulevardul Alexandru Lăpușneanu, la intersecția cu strada Sucevei", a afirmat reprezentantul firmei.
E drept, însă, că mai sunt în plan încă cel puțin două sensuri giratorii și pe Bulevardul Aurel Vlaicu, la intersecțiile cu străzile Ștefăniță Vodă și Baba Novac. "Acelea, însă, sunt la faza de discuții, încă nu s-au emis avize", a adăugat șeful serviciului responsabil.
Unele sunt doar cu numele!
Sensul giratoriu este, susțin atât reprezentanții Confort Urban, cât și polițiștii, o soluție mai bună decât semaforizarea, pentru fluidizarea traficului și reducerea numărului de accidente. Astfel se explică, spun responsabilii, numărul din ce în ce mai mare al acestor construcții.
"Realizarea unui sens giratoriu este o soluție superioară unei intersecții dirijate prin semafor; din punct de vedere tehnic pentru că asigură o fluență naturală, iar din punct de vedere economic pentru că este mai ușor de întreținut. În Anglia, de exemplu, nu se mai realizează sensuri giratorii, ci în toate intersecțiile, inclusiv în cele mici, sunt desenate cercuri albe, iar participanții știu că trebuie să respecte regula priorității din sensul giratoriu", a afirmat comisarul șef Constantin Dancu, șeful Poliției Rutiere Constanța.
Nu înseamnă însă că sensurile giratorii care au fost realizate în oraș rezolvă problemele de circulație. Astfel, polițiștii au atras atenția că sensurile giratorii construite pe Bulevardul Aurel Vlaicu sunt dezaxate și nu îndeplinesc rolul pe care îl au. "Este însă un început!", a adăugat comisarul șef Constantin Dancu.
"Așteptăm acum să se realizeze un sens giratoriu la intersecția dintre Bulevardul 1 Mai și strada Theodor Burada, căci ar rezolva multe probleme, mai ales din timpul sezonului estival", a adăugat omul legii.
